Tom’s entrepreneurial journey began early, sparked by a high school entrepreneurship class that ignited his passion for business. This interest led him to pursue a degree in Entrepreneurship at Canisius College, where he continued to develop the skills that would shape his professional path.
While still a student, Tom embraced his entrepreneurial spirit by founding The Bigger Buffalo, a digital media brand that evolved into a successful apparel company. His venture caught the attention of local media, and the exposure resulted in a complete sellout of inventory – an early indicator of Tom’s ability to connect with the western New York community.
From Student Entrepreneur to Sales Professional
During his junior year, Tom interned with a local networking event company, where he managed social media, event marketing, and client relationships. This experience proved pivotal, as it connected him with his first client for social media management.
Tom seized this opportunity and built his own social media management business while still completing his education. For one year following graduation, he continued to grow this venture, gaining valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of business ownership.

After deciding to expand his professional horizons, Tom joined a leading technology provider in a sales role. His impact was immediate and significant, setting company records as the top-performing new representative in over seven years.
His contributions extended beyond personal sales success to include developing new sales strategies, expanding into new markets, mentoring new team members, and building strategic partnerships. In March 2025, Tom’s exceptional relationship-building skills and community engagement earned him prestigious recognition within the industry.
